Dads Are The Best

(And so are Moms!)

My Dad flew to Singapore from the USA to attend my official book launch. It’s an unbelievably long journey if you haven’t been to SE Asia. It easily takes 20+ hours depending on flight routes and layovers, but luckily, over the last ten years that I’ve lived there, he’s been there more than half-a-dozen times.

But he showed up and took many of the photos I have of that 2-week trip.

He said to me: You said you were going to publish a book, and you did. You did it with 2 young kids and having moved country. I’m proud of you.
And I cried.

You’re never too old to let your heart fill with joy when your parents tell you just how proud they are of you!
